WHAT TO DO ON THE WATER IN CABO SAN LUCAS

There's one thing for sure... to fully enjoy your vacation in Cabo San Lucas you need to get wet and while your at it, why not make it getting wet and wild? Everything from waverunner rentals to kayaking, snorkeling to mini-subs that give you the benefits of scuba diving without the need for training and all the gear that goes along with it. You can also hop on a glass bottom boat to tour the rock formations found at Land's End or strap into a parasailing harness and get a bird's eye view of the Bay of Cabo San Lucas.

Other popular water related activities include skimboarding on the beach, learning to sail or take it a notch higher by boarding an actual America's Cup racing yacht and be part of the crew. Boat tours that include snorkeling and whale watching leave the marina several times a day that will take you to pristine coves like Santa Maria or Chilleno Bays where tropical fish are found by the thousands.

Snorkeling and kayaking trips are especially appealing as they don't cost an arm and a leg and take only a few hours out of your vacation leaving you plenty of time to take part in other activities.

Oceanus Mini Subs are no doubt one of the hottest tickets on the water in Cabo San Lucas. These self contained underwater scooters require no special certification, just a few minutes of instruction and you're off into the blue waters of Los Cabos. Most tours take you aboard the ship Oceanus to Chilleno Bay where you'll jump in the water and ride off on your own personal Mini Sub.

JT Watersports is one of the watersports providers that we recommend in Cabo. They've been in business since 1993 and offer just about any type of activity on the water you could want. Parasailing, waverunners, kayak tours, snorkeling... these are all part of JT's offerings and with their solid reputation, you can't go wrong booking your play with them.

If something a bit less strenous is more up your alley, then why not hop aboard any one of many available booze and party cruises that depart from the marina. There's the largest of them all, the Cabo Rey Dinner and Sunset Cruises and smaller options including an authentic 1880's pirate ship, the Buccaneer Queen. This one's a winner, especially for families with kids as the crew, dressed in full pirate garb, put on a show for it's passengers.
